Test procedures
Test chambers by Albatross Projects are extremely durable and low-maintenance. Nevertheless, moving parts in and on the test chamber need to be maintained regularly. Reliable shielding attenuation can be guaranteed by regular cleaning and lubrication of doors and gates. Turntables, antenna masts and other positioning systems also require regular maintenance in order to safeguard movement precision and hence the exactness of measurements. Kindly refer to the individual documentation for your test chamber to obtain specific maintenance recommendations and cycles.
Full maintenance of doors and gates, including
quick check for leakage
We look after the cleaning and lubrication of your doors and gates as an optional service. In addition, maintenance by Albatross Projects includes a quick check for leakage. This means that we measure before and after maintenance whether the required shielding attenuation is adhered to. This way, you can be certain that the attenuation provided by your doors and gates continues to work according to the specifications.
Maintenance contracts for power-operated doors and gates
The workplace regulation ASR A1.7 specifies that power-operated doors and gates must be inspected annually. We will gladly conduct the safety inspection and maintenance for your power-operated doors and gates, including the quick check for leakage. Given that this work must be performed annually, we advise you to conclude a maintenance contract
Test chambers by Albatross Projects are designed from the get-go for downstream upgrading or relocation with as little effort as possible. This flexibility is ensured on the one hand by our consistently modular design – from the shielding module to the suspended absorber – and on the other by the sophisticated details like the holding rails for the wave guides, which enable safe installation and dismantling by just one person.
Retrofitting/conversion
Albatross Projects makes sure that you are prepared if new standards define stricter requirements for your test chamber at some time down the line. For instance, we can extend the shielding frequency range to 1, 20 or 40 GHz simply by replacing relevant system components or can modify the absorber configuration to adjust the absorption characteristics for new requirements.
Relocation
